Cats available to adopt

The shelter houses its rescued animals at the adoption center at the Crossgates Commons PetSmart, Washington Avenue Extension, Guilderland, or in the homes of volunteers.

Adoption clinics are held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. weekdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Other times are available by appointment.

All animals have been tested for disease, vaccinated and spayed or neutered. The adoption fee for cats is $75; the cost is reduced for elderly and special-needs cats.
